As Manager, Brand Management for the CN Valorant publishing team, you will report to the CN Valorant publishing lead and also work closely with the global Valorant Publishing and Tencent Publishing team to represent the Valorant brand as a whole in CN.

Valorant as a global brand. You will partner with global teams including, product, brand, creative, social, community, growth team, and work with agency, artists to create, deploy, and lead industry-leading campaigns for Valorant in CN, while also making a global appearance.

Responsibilities:

  • Starting from insights, determining data informed objectives with trackable outcomes that contribute to the meaningful growth of the game via publishing efforts.
  • Work closely with Global Publishing and Tencent to define publishing vision/objectives, craft best-in-class local publishing strategies, initiate campaign briefs, and ultimately in driving a holistic cross-pillar player journey that encompass both global vision with local-resonated experiences
  • Establish a consistent global Valornat brand presence in China, merging product, brand, entertainment and esports experience in bringing a holistic and cohesive experience to players
  • Foster strong relationships and trusts with global stakeholder and local partners. Lead continuous evolvement of cross-team collaboration and improved efficiency

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years experience in brand management and marketing
  • Previous management experience with a sizeable team
  • Experience in brand management and strategy for a gaming, esports, lifestyle, or notable consumer brand.
  • Expertise in planning, developing, and executing successful strategy briefs that inspire creative activations and consumer-led campaigns across a wide array of channels and budgets.
  • Experience partnering with international teams to build brands
  • Experience and strong connection with multi-channel medias
  • Strong connection and experience leading agency partners in delivering successful results for your brand
  • Fluent in Chinese and English, and can drive collaboration across language and culture

Desired Qualifications:

  • Passion for PC games and STG/FPS genre
  • Great understanding of PC games players behavior and insight globally
  • Experience with global PC games marketing and publishing
  • Deep knowledge of creative production process
  • Understanding of global gaming, mobile gaming and lifestyle marketing Trends
