[ ABOUT THE ROLE ]

As the Manager of Strategy at Krafton, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of defining and executing strategic initiatives to drive growth and market leadership in the gaming industry. Operating from Bengaluru, you will collaborate closely with regional and global stakeholders to formulate and implement strategies that capitalize on emerging market trends, technological advancements, and consumer preferences.

[ RESPONSIBILITIES ]

• Strategic Direction and Planning: Contribute to the development and articulation of a comprehensive strategic vision for Krafton, aligning with the company's long-term objectives and market dynamics. Drive the development of strategic plans, including market entry strategies, product portfolio optimization, and revenue growth initiatives.
• Market and Competitive Insights: Gather actionable insights (from primary and secondary research) into consumer behaviour, competitor actions, and industry trends. Benchmark Krafton's performance and identify areas for improvement and innovation. Use data-driven analysis to inform strategic decision-making processes.
• Inorganic Expansion: Identify and evaluate business partnerships and investment opportunities to improve Krafton's strategic position. This includes opportunities for expansion and diversification into adjacent markets and verticals
• Strategic Initiatives Execution: Collaborate cross-functionally to execute strategic initiatives and projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and resource allocations. Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Interface with internal and external stakeholders, including leadership, partners, and industry influencers. Effectively communicate strategic priorities, progress updates, and key milestones to ensure alignment and engagement across the organization.

[ REQUIREMENTS ]

• Education: Post Graduate degree in Business Management from a reputable institution, or Bachelor’s degree from a top institution.
• Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate strategy or management consulting roles, with a focus on the gaming, entertainment or technology industry. Demonstrated track record of leading strategic projects, and delivering measurable business impact.
• Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information, identify trends, and formulate actionable insights and recommendations.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the gaming industry landscape, including market trends, player preferences, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies.
• Leadership and Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to thrive in a multi-cultural workplace, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Innovation and Adaptability: Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning. Ability to navigate ambiguity and uncertainty in a rapidly evolving industry with resilience and agility.
