Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team. As Finance Manager, leading a small team, you will be responsible for managing the financial activities of the UK studios, ensuring compliance with accounting rules and regulations, and providing financial insights to support business decisions. Working with our Studio Head and their senior team, you will be responsible for ensuring the profitability of the UK operation.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end accounting activities and book closures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting rules, regulations, and taxes in the UK
• Oversee accounting, compliance, and audits in the UK.
• Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with local GAAP/IFRS.
• Develop and implement internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
• Manage statutory requirements and ensure financial information security.
• Collaborate with the team to improve processes, turnaround time, and efficiency.
• Provide financial insights and support to achieve profitability targets.
• Maintain cash flow and prepare forecasts in accordance with policy.
• Manage the acquisition and recording of capital assets.
• Develop and lead the small UK Finance team.
• Maintain financial records for each site/line of business, in a manner that facilitates accurate management reports in a timely manner.
• Assist the FP&A teams with budget preparation

Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum 8+ years of progressive financial responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of local accounting rules, regulations, and taxes in the UK.
• Proven track record in end-to-end accounting activities and book closures.
• Proficiency in using accounting ERP systems like Microsoft D365 or MS Axapta.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Business Administration (Master's degree preferred).
• Professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant, CPA, CMA, or ICWA is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
