SUMMARY OF POSITION
Pixelberry Studios is looking for a Choices Writing Intern.
Our headquarters are in Mountain View, CA but we can accommodate a remote work environment.
The Choices writing intern will help with the day-to-day production of upcoming Choices books, and help with creatives for the upcoming year. Skills must include:
- A strong grasp of fiction writing and the English language
- Excellent editorial skills
- Able to receive and apply critique and feedback on their work
- Ability to deliver polished work in a timely manner
These below courses are not required to be successful at Pixelberry Studios, but may help with the work you'll be doing:
- Writing courses (English/Lit, Fiction, Poetry, Creative Nonfiction)
- Media studies/history (Film, stage, TV)
- Studio Art or Writing classes (where you have experienced giving/receiving critique)
REQUIRED SUBMISSION MATERIALS
In order for your application to be considered, you must provide:
- A resume (or college transcript) and cover letter
- At least 2 short writing samples
- Your writing samples should showcase your writing strengths
- Your writing samples MUST include at least one fiction sample
