Media Molecule - About Us!

Media Molecule is open for work experience placements! We are a small, diverse studio with a family vibe. Self-motivation, knowledge of your craft, and willingness to push the boundaries of what is possible are important qualities for prospective employees.

We’re passionate (and very excited!) about giving students first-hand experience of how a game studio works, and hopefully inspire them to look towards a career in game dev! We typically look to run one-week placements in April and July each year, so if you are interested, please do get in touch!

Tips for being successful in your application for a weeks work experience:

We only offer work experiences of 1-2 weeks maximum, any longer period that this then please refer to our internship section.

We typically open our work experience opportunities up in the months of April and July. If you would like to apply for a weeks work experience in either of these months then please email your CV and cover letter two months in advance.

In your application please outline what your passions and hobbies are inside and outside of school/uni. Help us to understand why you are applying for an opportunity to spend some time in our studio.

This is non paid work experience and we unfortunately do not provide any accommodation support or parking. Lunch is free every day and cooked by our lovely chefs, and coffee/tea breakfast is a help yourself scenario.
