Wellbeing and Performance Lead

Through the work you do, you’ll be vital to helping unlock the talent of our people and helping Space Ape achieve its mission.

Responsibilities

• Drive improvements in the wellbeing and performance of individuals, teams and groups at Space Ape through 1:1 coaching, workshops and strategic initiatives
• Provide hands-on support and coaching to Craft and Game Leads to build highly confident, capable, and empowered teams
• Build a pipeline of future leaders through dedicated coaching and support to our emerging leader population
• Cultivate thriving team dynamics by facilitating workshops to proactively strengthen psychological safety, trust, and communication
• Build an understanding of leading indicators for team collaboration to help proactively prevent issues from arising
• Support HR / People function in developing innovative, forward-thinking programs that position our people experience as best-in-class in the gaming industry
• Establish yourself as the trusted expert and advisor on all things leadership development, high performance, and wellbeing
• Be the studio ambassador for self-awareness and improvement, champion great leadership, inspiring all employees to fulfil their highest potential

Requirements

• You are a Chartered Occupational Psychologist, ICF accredited coach, or hold a PhD or MSc in a related field
• You are an experienced coach, and have practical experience of working within a business or performance-centric environment
• You will have a passion for the problems found in high pressure environments and in finding ways to solve them
• You will be a self-starter, happy to find your own way and build the bigger picture for what wellbeing and performance can be at Space Ape
• You’ll be someone who is solution-oriented, taking a practical approach to difficult situations

Space Ape is an award winning mobile game studio in Central London and founded in 2012.
