Job Description
Based in Paris and Kyiv, Web Services team brings to life new online concepts, services, and tools for Ubisoft's production and business teams around the world.Our diverse and technical expertise enables us to conceptualise, build, support, and operate online solutions for Ubisoft’s worldwide Production and Business teams. We offer expertise in project management, UI/UX design, development, infrastructure, integration, and live support to help Ubisoft achieve their online goals.Based in Kyiv, you will be attached to the Lead Designer of the Design Team in Paris and will be in charge of ensuring the visual quality and experience of the products to be delivered. You will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of project managers, UX/UI designers, developers, and testers.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Manage a small team of designers accountable for the UI design of Web Service's products;
- Plan and allocate the resources required to successfully execute the established goals and objectives for Web Service’s products and services;
- Oversee all design projects, from conception to delivery;
- Define a process to receive the design requests and work with the designers to deliver relevant time estimates, planning and prioritization;
- Increase user-friendliness of Web Services digital products collaborating with your team, product managers, and development teams
- Ensure the development and maintenance of product design documentation.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience on team management as a Lead Designer, Designer Team Lead or similar role (Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience);
- Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a global team with different expertise (project managers, UX designers, UI designers, front/back developers, testers, and engineers);
- You have experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment;
- Proficient in design software and prototype tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Figma);
- You are up to date of the latest trends in the digital design domain, UI trends, techniques, and technologies;
- Proven digital design experience with a strong design portfolio;
Personal qualities:
- Strong aesthetic skills and attention to details;
- Team spirit, strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders;
- You should have a real interest in the video game sector, a first experience in the entertainment industry would be a plus
- Ability to present designs and solutions to various stakeholders;
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively;
- Ability to collaborate with front end developers and engineers;
