Stardock is seeking a Web Developer to become an integral part of the marking team. This position will be responsible for building out and improving upon HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for our public facing websites. The ideal web developer should have experience in cross-browser implementation, translating designs into web pages, and continuously improving our user’s online experience. This is a salaried, full-time position located at our Plymouth, Michigan studio with remote work flexibility.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborate with management, designers, and other developers to develop websites and mailers for our portfolio of products.
- Utilize ASP.Net to write clean, scalable code.
- Update existing and create new projects that use JavaScript/React.
- Experience using HTML5 and CSS3.
- Intermediate level responsive web design experience.
- Understanding of how HTML impacts SEO.
- Experience with cross browser testing.
- Experience translating designs from Adobe Photoshop.
Nice to Have:
- Desire to lead front-end development within a fast-paced marketing department.
- Experience with Jira (Project Management Tool).
- Social media experience.
- Server configuration.
Education and/or Experience Desired:
- College degree in Computer Science or a related field and/or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ Years experience as a Web Developer with an emphasis on JavaScript experience.
- Solid, publicly viewable examples of real world HTML, CSS, and Javascript projects.
