Warehouse Team Lead

Summary
This role will be responsible to oversee the daily activities of all warehouse pickers and ensure they are on task and following the correct process. This position will be responsible for ensuring all picking work for production/transfer/sales order are completed on the day they are due and escalate any issues. The candidate will be able to perform safety walks and other lead activities as well as facilitate any continuous improvement projects within the warehouse.Pay Range
$44,294-$82,261What you'll do
• Oversee all picking activities that occur within the warehouse. Ensure warehouse pickers are following the correct process.
• Print out and distribute pick work as needed throughout the day.
• Track and report issues that affect picking work from being generated/completed.
• Perform safety walks on a weekly basis and provide corrective actions for any issues found.
• Investigate inventory issues and drive problems to root cause and adjust process as needed to prevent future inventory issues.
• Answer any questions that other warehouse pickers may have.
• Other duties as required.
• This role will be located within the warehouse. Must be able to work in warmer/colder conditions that are typical within a warehouse/receiving dock.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
What we're looking for
• 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment in a warehouse picking role or in a lead role.
• Advanced skillset of computer tools, including Microsoft excel, smartsheets, Teams.
• Experience performing transactions in an ERP system.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 a bonus.
