Role Overview:
The Business Analyst reports to the Manager, Business Systems Integrations within WWS QA Support Services.
Your role will focus on supporting Worldwide Studios and QA teams with gathering operational critical data, analysing trends, visualising metrics and monitoring operations with reports and dashboards.
As a business analyst you will work on variety of projects as a subject matter expert and help to design future processes and tools that automate and streamline operations
What you’ll be doing:
- Work with stakeholder across organisation to coordinate in-game credit gathering, validation and submission process.
- Work within agile project teams to support with all phases of project from initiation, design, development, deployment, and support.
- Partner with stakeholder (organisation management team, development studios, design teams, and regional/global team across the organisation) to understand their service, project, reporting or analytical requirements. Work with the wider team to analyse these requirements and implement solutions.
- Analyse complex datasets to support existing operational metrics and identify new metrics or opportunities for efficiencies.
- Work closely with data engineers, analysts, finance and business leaders to build, refine and/or maintain centralised systems and data "pipes" by which the business reports, measures and runs the business.
- Using tools like Excel, develop and maintain analytical models to describe past and future operational trends/projections. Propose recommendation for automation of analytical models to leverage live data.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to communicate complex ideas to stakeholders and management across the organisation.
- Lead workshops with different stakeholder internal custom groups to cover complex business processes, spark discussions, brainstorm ideas, and facilitate analysis of alternatives to lead to decision making.
- In close partnership with Finance, own the tracking, refinement and reporting of key business metrics and reports on agreed cadence.
- Building highly functional and appealing reports/dashboards
- Train end users on internal business systems and processes
- Conduct periodic system utilisation/heath check-ins to confirm adoption and realisation of ROI
- Develop strategies to improve the effectiveness of existing processes
- Support ad-hoc analyses and projects as required
What we’re looking for:
- Experience working with internal or external customer groups
- Demonstrated tenure with operational teams to analysis performance
- Proven experience in a global organisation and working with multinational project teams.
- SQL Experience
- Tableau/Looker (or other industry leading data visualisation tool) Experience
- Analytical orientation and strong problem-solving skills, demonstrated by the ability to structure an issue and analyse alternative solutions. Tireless advocate for the use of data to support the analysis.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (primarily Excel & PowerPoint)
- Comfortable working in a global matrix-based team
