Summary of Position
Nexon America is looking for a Visual Design Intern to join our Visual Design team for the 2024 summer internship program. As a visual design intern at Nexon America, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our team in creating designs for both external and internal use. Our team is responsible for creating a wide range of customer-facing sales, marketing, and promotional content that our players see. The scope of work for this internship is broad, and we'd treat our intern as full-time team members, providing them with a lot of responsibility, mentorship and exposure to work that has immediate relevance to our company’s mission.
We are currently working in the office 2-3x a week in a hybrid work model.
The target start date for the internship program is 6/10 (40 hours/week) and the duration of the internship will vary between 8-12 weeks depending on the role .

Job Responsibilities
- Digital Sales and Promotional designs
- Web and newsletter design
- Versioning of creative materials
- Merchandise design
- Other duties as assigned
Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
- Enrolled in Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
Knowledge/Skills
- Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong visual design skills with an eye for detail and aesthetics
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of design principles, color theory, and typography
- Ability to create visually appealing designs for a variety of mediums, including print and digital
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and present design ideas
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suit
- Passion for Video Games and other forms of Entertainment

Compensation Description for Pay Transparency (hourly)
The base salary range for this position in El Segundo, CA is $18.00 - $20.00 hourly.
Our salary ranges are determined by market data based on position and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum salaries for that position.
