We create extraordinary new game experiences for our millions of players everywhere by bringing together talented people that combine creativity, innovation, and passion. Our mission is to attract and grow a more diverse employee base through the cultivation of our early talent pipeline to shape EA's teams, culture and products. Within Europe, we create an overall enriching experience, empowering interns and graduates with the sense that "EA is where I want to be".

The Challenge Ahead:

Join us for an opportunity to work with one of the best game development teams in the world.

This position is focused on driving the effort of building an automated visual anomaly detection solution for our games. At EA we’re always looking to use the newest technologies and push the boundaries of game development. We have been experimenting with ML-driven object detection and classification algorithms to automatically detect visual glitches in games. We’re looking for a person who can work with our experts to develop an automated workflow that uses these technologies and makes them available to the Quality Verification (QV) and development teams.

As an engineer within the Quality Verification Engineering (QVE) Team and as a member of the worldwide QV organisation, you will report to the Engineering Manager and help ensure that our games will be stable through every stage of development. You will be tasked to set a new bar for one of the most advanced, feature-complete automation platforms to power the development and testing of games played by hundreds of millions of gamers worldwide.

You will work with other teams to understand requirements, problem areas and translate them into technical designs, which are reviewed and agreed upon by relevant parties.

You will work at the offices located in Bucharest with the possibility of hybrid work. Most of our technologies are written in C++ and Python.
