Video and Multimedia Designer

We are looking for a Multimedia Designer to join our Marketing team and work with the digital design and online presence of Playdead across multiple locations.

We expect that you will be equally comfortable listening to input from a broad creative team as well as the business needs of our marketing team to produce compelling and clear design.

We work in a way that allows you the creative space to produce high fidelity content even during tight turnarounds.

What will you be doing?

• Creating, updating and maintaining graphic and video assets to be used across multiple online stores
• Custom designs for a range of business needs covering web design, social media, storefronts and other elements of Playdead’s online presence
• Building a repository of standard templates that can be used at short notice
• Collaborating across Playdead on other design related tasks

What we would like to see

• Working knowledge of video editing and production
• Experience designing for online stores, social media or related marketing materials
• Professional digital experience translating concepts, scripts and abstract ideas into compelling graphics, video and audio
• Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography and web design
• A strong portfolio showing a clean and clear style

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud
• Bonus points if you have worked with Flash/HTML/CSS
