Senior Video Producer - Unpublished Tactical FPS

Our players love video and so do we. That love means that video is often the primary output from publishing campaigns at Riot. Video Production crafts compelling content that showcases new products from our games. We also build videos with meaningful messaging to communicate changes to our players. Producers, Editors, Directors, and Capture Artists all collaborate closely with Brand, Comms and Development across all forms of video. From Gameplay to Dev Diaries to Live Action to traditional animation and CG, our focus is to surprise and delight all of our players.
Project A is Riot’s take on a character-based tactical shooter (for more info on Project A click here!) . As a Senior Video Producer, you’ll set the vision and goals for how video fits into your product’s publishing plan as well as support any in-game video needs. You’ll collaborate with game developers, publishing professionals, finance and legal representatives, on videos of multiple genres: from CG trailers to intimate developer videos to gameplay pre-roll advertisements. This position will report to the Publishing Creative Director.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee multiple production projects concurrently, set budgets, manage every level of content creation with all partners.
- Collaborate closely with the Project A Publishing team to establish video needs across multiple publishing campaigns.
- Maintain a close relationship with the Project A Development Team, and collaborate with designers, artists and engineers to find the best way to introduce Riot’s latest game to the world
- Lead Project A’s Video Production team’s workflows including hands-on creative development; work directly with creative leads, brand managers, artists, writers, visual designers, producers, sound and visual effects artists; listen and respond to pitches and ensure that only top content is delivered to players.
- Brainstorm, produce and own original scripted and unscripted video content from concept to release. Evaluate released productions with a constant desire to make each piece better than the last
- Foster, develop and maintain relationships with top agencies, directors, producers and the production community at-large to keep Video Production in the know and equipped with the most advanced tools and tech
- Bring quality projects on time and on budget, ensuring that all partners look forward to working with you again
Required Qualifications:
- BA degree or equivalent
- 7 + years experience or equivalent producing video content at a games studio or agency
- Experience producing videos across 2 of the 3 following genres of video: Gameplay, Live Action and CG
- Experience leading most phases of production including bidding, ideation, briefing, scripting, pre-production, production, post production, localization and final delivery.
- Experience managing external partners and vendors
Desired Qualifications:
- BA degree or equivalent
- 10 + years experience or equivalent producing video content at a games studio or agency
- Experience producing videos across all genres of video: Gameplay, Live Action and CG
- Experience leading all phases of production including bidding, ideation, briefing, scripting, pre production, production, post production, localization and final delivery.
- Experience managing multiple external partners and vendors in parallel.
