Video Lead

We are seeking a Video Lead who is experienced in video creation and production.
WHO YOU ARE:
- Excited to play a pivotal role in capturing and sharing the personal stories of our game teams and communicating their unique narratives.
- Experienced professional in live video planning, production, and editing.
- Skilled at relationship building, and interviewing people. You can dive deep to understand and showcase our company and it's game teams.
- Able to create quality video pieces on your own, with an internal team, or collaborating with an external production house.
- Comfortable working in an ever-changing, dynamic environment. The goals will remain the same, but the tactics may change over time.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Produce, shoot, edit, write, and direct videos for both external and internal audiences.
- Conceptualize and create high-production value shoots as well as low-impact, internally produced shoots that maintain a professional level of polish and feel.
- Perform video production related tasks such as editing, camera operation, directing, interviewing, lighting, and color grading.
- Help shape the Live-Action Video development pipeline, from conception to delivery (pre-pro through post).
- Operate and manage live-action hardware and software.
- Partner with marketing managers, development teams, and internal communications to facilitate video production requests.
- Conceptualize, board, pitch new videos, series, campaigns, and experimental content on emerging platforms.
- Manage outsource vendors for live-action production, filming, or editing when needed.
- Work with development teams to create world-class “developer diaries”, community updates and “fireside chats.”
- Familiarize yourself with game teams by joining regularly scheduled community events and team off-sites to maintain an updated catalog of B-Roll.
- Participate in game capture sessions in-person and remotely.
- Conceptualize, create, and capture high-quality in-game footage using propriety tools such as Unreal 5 .
QUALIFICATIONS:
- An online portfolio and demo reel showcasing high-quality editing, cinematography, directing, interviewing and storytelling techniques.
- Ability to adapt techniques to fit different types of games, teams, art direction, and style guides.
- Master level experience in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere, and Audition.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to present direction in a clear manner to leads and marketing managers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, and familiarity with technical constraints of video production.
- Ability to learn new software, like Unreal Engine 5.
- Preferred 5+ years of industry experience creating video assets for games or film.
- Preferred Team lead experience in video production.
- Bachelor’s degree in similar or related field.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Preferred Broad knowledge in 3D production software such as Blender, Maya, or Cinema4D.
- Preferred Post-production skills including, but not limited to, color grading, typography, rotoscoping, and compositing.
- Preferred experience with conventional cameras (DSLR, HD, Red, etc.)

Compensation:
- This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, exempt (salaried) position.
- The full salary range for this position is $110,000 - $161,000 per year. The upper third of the salary range is typically reserved for existing employees who demonstrate strong performance over time. When an offer is made, many factors are considered, such as your unique experience and skills, where you live, where the work will be performed, what similar jobs pay, internal equity, and what you're looking for.
- In addition to base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for additional incentives, such as a sign-on bonus and short- and long-term incentives. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
