Video Editor (Temporary Assignment)
This position is for a temporary engagement through our staffing partner Yoh Services.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States for this position.
Summary:
The video editor responsible for cutting the trailers and supporting the marketing team
Responsibilities:
- Editing trailers/marketing materials for single player and Multiplayer mode utilizing captured game footage
- Editing internal studio videos (recruitment videos, sizzle reels, flythrus)
- Supporting livestream needs (managing hardware, participating in shoots, lighting setups)
- Assisting the editorial team with cinematics and dialogue
- Organizing dailies shot at the mocap stage, prepping for edit
- Cleaning up dialogue to remove stage noise
- Compressing and exporting various video and audio files for implementation in the game and for delivery out of house
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed
Requirements & Skills:
- Self-starter who’s incredibly organized and detail oriented a must
- Experience editing trailers
- Video game production experience strongly preferred
- Experience editing performance capture video preferred, but not essential
- Needs to work well in a high-pressure environment as a member of a team
- Open to feedback and iteration in a collaborative environment
- Thorough knowledge of Adobe Premiere preferred
- Knowledge of various digital video codecs, file formats and encoding preferred
- Knowledge of online streaming devices and programs
