ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are looking for an experienced Social Media Content Creator/Multimedia Artist to join our small-but-mighty internal marketing team in support of an unannounced VR title, as well as the studio brand at large. This is a hands-on creative role, with a heavy focus on the production of digital assets to drive awareness of and engagement with Archiact and our titles. This role will create audio/visual assets in support of marketing and social media management goals, which may include graphic art, motion graphics, live-action and gameplay videos, screenshots, and merchandise. This is a 6-month fixed term contract role.

ABOUT YOU:

You are a digital multimedia artist with a strong understanding of effective aesthetic design, game visuals, and how content best supports marketing campaigns. The goals and direction for both the studio and its games are your compass points, and you use them to create highest quality assets that earn community attention, drive engagement, and invite players to deeply connect with our titles. The idea of working within a tightly collaborative marketing team excites you; you are eager to share your best ideas, and to uplift those of your peers. Whether playing VR or traditional games, your love of interactive experiences runs deep, as does your love of using audio/visual media to tell meaningful stories about our games and how we make them.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of experience creating digital multimedia content, with a focus on video assets such as trailers or devlogs.
  • High proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects.
  • Ability to use photo/video editing software, graphic design, live action footage, audio recordings, SFX and VFX, to create highest quality audio/visual assets in support of marketing campaigns and brand initiatives.
  • Portfolio of high quality audio/visual assets (Eg. graphic design, brand work, devlogs, trailers, motion graphic elements, live action film, etc.) ideally with proven success as marketing assets.
  • Deep knowledge of video games, video game marketing content, and understanding of relevant audiences.
  • Working understanding of game brand, marketing funnels, and campaign structure.
  • Exceptional organization skills, particularly around timely delivery of key assets within a marketing campaign.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Experience with the creation of written content (Eg. blog posts, fiction, etc) and/or marketing copy (Eg. Video titles, descriptions, SEO, etc.) is a major plus.
  • Experience with live events (Eg. Twitch streams, speed runs, virtual panels, premieres, etc.) a plus.
  • Knowledge of virtual reality and VR games a plus.
  • Traditional media/art skills a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, create, and assist in the distribution of highest quality audio/visual assets in support of marketing campaigns and brand brand initiatives, such as trailers, gameplay features, and devlogs.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to plan a detailed content plan and workback, ensuring messaging and schedule goals are met.
  • Collaborate with the Social Media & Community Manager to execute a content calendar of high-quality written, image, and video content to raise brand/game awareness, drive engagement, and foster community.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to obtain frequent feedback on assets, and to ensure assets are on-brand, on-message, and delivered on schedule.
  • Liaise with external vendors such as trailer makers, production crews, and PR teams to identify their content needs and execute accordingly.
  • Maintain a file organisation system to archive completed assets, relevant project/source files, and feedback notes.
  • Collaborate with and support our Marketing Co-op Student(s) as needed, especially those with an interest in gaining content creation experience.
  • Assist with miscellaneous marketing team tasks as needed.
