THE WORLD OF UBISOFT

The International Mobile Division is currently one of the fastest growing activities of Ubisoft, with top-selling brands like South Park Phone Destroyer, Might and Magic Elemental Guardians and Assassin’s Creed Rebellion.

Today, as part of this development, the group is looking for a Video Artist who will lead the creation of various marketing assets, specifically in the areas such as User Acquisition, Community Management, Branding or Store Relations, Sales & Certification.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Video Artist is a skilled motion graphic designer with the ability to create a broad array of marketing graphics across multiple mobile game titles simultaneously.

As a core member of the Mobile Marketing Asset Team reporting to the Marketing Asset Manager, you’ll be called on to create a wide range of assets with a strong focus on video such as user acquisition videos, social posts, animated advertising banners, promotional videos for business partnerships, etc.

We are looking for someone who has a good understanding of quality creatives in a performance marketing context and its focuses and constraints in the mobile gaming sector.

We work fast, so you will need superior time management skills and be able to adapt quickly to changes and juggle overlapping deadlines.

It's a role with a lot of room for creativity and the ideal candidate would be someone who could eventually step up to oversee and make inputs on the overall consistency and quality of the assets we produce per each title.

Your daily adventure:

§ Motion Graphics – You create videos using Adobe After Effects by integrating 2D/3D assets from our games and concept, design and animate imaginative and inspiring motion graphics pieces.

§ Video Editing – You edit video footage in Adobe Premiere Pro to create sharp and dynamic pieces of content, whether it is a CG game cinematic or an event held in the studio.

§ Gameplay Capturing – You work with marketing and the game development team to capture in game footage using Unity and other game capture tools.

§ Graphic Design – You support in the creation of 2D/3D static assets for web, in game needs or printed materials.

§ 3D Workflow – You help create 3D scenes by lighting, rendering and compositing 3D characters and animations, based on existing game assets and brand guidelines. You use Unity and Blender or Autodesk Software to bring these to life.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE MARKETING TEAM

§ 1-3 years experience in motion graphic design/animation & video editing, ideally in mobile gaming and/or gaming sector

§ A good understanding of digital marketing practices & social media trends

§ Extensive experience with the Adobe suite including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop or similar; as well as Unity and other 3D software and the ability to learn new programs

§ Ability to conceptualize ideas and design layout via storyboards, sketches and animatic

§ Advanced skills that allow you to work in autonomy, and make solid decisions concerning marketing asset creation as well as document your processes

§ A good communication skills, you’re able to work collaboratively in a professional environment, able to understand and implement feedback

§ Fun and proactive team player.

§ A strong time management skills, able to create quality content on schedule in a fast-paced environment.

§ Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects at the same time and to follow organizational standards and creative briefs.

§ Interest in the games industry.

§ Basic Communication in English.

NICE TO HAVES

§ Experience in game trailer production and gameplay capturing.

§ Experience in 3D modeling, UV Mapping and Texturing.

§ Knowledge of Blender.

§ Experience in making interactive videos (etc. HTML5)
