OUR STUDIO
We’re part of KRAFTON, a collective of independent game studios headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. Our core team is based in the heart of Prague, a UNESCO world heritage site, but we’re a hybrid team with an international outlook, cooperating closely with colleagues in Seoul and beyond.

Responsibilities
Our Lead Concept Artist will work directly with the Art Director to help define and capture the artistic direction of the project while mentoring and guiding the concept art team.
Visual Design
Together with the Art Director:
- Define a visual language for the artistic direction that can be translated into 3D
- Create visual documentation that helps other artists understand the art direction
- Ensure visual language and designs are carried through all the way into the game
Concept Creation
- Craft high quality concept art for a wide variety of subjects like environments, characters and assets
- Create illustrations for project marketing purposes
- Provide sketches and turnaround for 3D artists
Team Mentor
- Take charge of the Concept Art team.
- Provide visionary leadership, guidance, and mentorship.
- Foster a creative and high-performing team environment.

As the Lead Concept Artist, you will shape the future of our studio through your exceptional traditional fine art skills and deep understanding of modern concept art software/tools.
You can share this knowledge to the concept art team and help them improve and grow under your supervision.
Required
- Several years’ experience as a Concept Artist, with some time in a leadership role within the gaming industry.
- Strong artistic aptitude in industrial design, life drawing, character- and environment painting backed up with a solid grasp on art fundamentals, functional design and stylization.
- Strong in speed painting and producing iterative mockup designs, clarifying and over painting design changes.
- An effective communicator capable of matching and assigning tasks to best fit individual skills and independently making sure that relevant measures are taken to maintain visual standards.
Welcomed
- Working knowledge of Atlassian software development and collaboration tools
- Experience working in a hybrid / remote environment
- Experience working in diverse, multinational teams
