VSP Senior Software Engineer, Quality

The opportunity
Unity is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to be part of our Quality Assurance team in Vilnius, Lithuania, specifically looking after our Verified Solutions Partner Program. The team is focused on ensuring the very highest quality public releases of third party products known as Unity’s Verified Solutions Partners (VSPs).
In this role you will partner with the team-lead to lead the creation, manual execution and maintenance of all testing activities. Your work will focus on Unity’s ecosystem of Verified third party solutions, working directly with Unity’s Verified Solutions Partner Solutions spanning different industries such as Games, Automotive, Transportation & Manufacturing, Film, Animation & Cinematics and Architecture, Engineering & Construction.
Your extensive technical skills combined with your ability to lead by example will enable you to have a great impact as a key member of the team.

What you'll be doing
- Create and develop comprehensive, well-structured test plans
- Prioritize and execute against test plans to verify the quality of Verified Solution Partners software solutions and highlight any risk
- Partner with remote development teams across the business to explore and understand new and existing Unity features
- Mentor team members to grow their skill sets and foster a quality-first culture
- Innovate, influence and assist the team with constant process improvements
What we're looking for
- You should be comfortable working within an international team and will need to be proficient in both written and spoken English
- A talent for presenting sophisticated information in a way that is easy to understand
- Experience of one or more of the following technologies: Unity; Unreal; any 3D Engine; or any programming language (C# preferred)
- Extensive experience using QA and development tools such as Jira, TestRail and Git
- Experience developing and releasing large complex software projects to a time-based schedule
You might also have
- Background in Games development, automotive or film production
- An understanding of data analytics (Google Data studio, SQL, etc)
- Experience with platform development (XR, Mobile or consoles applications)
