As VP of Product Strategy, you will be responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary central team who supports our apps through best-in-class service and expertise. You and your team will regularly and directly support games teams as they launch new products and refine and optimize existing games that are live in the market. You will help teams avoid making mistakes and ensure that they are learning from each other and constantly improving both themselves and their games. This role will interface with all levels of the organization from product managers working on games to C-level executives shaping the long-term strategy of the business and will be instrumental in defining how Aristocrat and it’s subsidiary digital companies approach the market and achieve growth objectives.What You'll Do
- Oversee a central team of product, product marketing and data experts to support and provide guidance to game studios across Pixel United
- Manage and continually evolve and improve Pixel United’s game investment governance (Green Light) process
- Work closely with CPO to craft and articulate the product strategy of the Pixel United Group, build a robust pipeline and sustainable portfolio, align the three businesses in a coordinated approach to achieving enterprise goals, e nsure game development capital is deployed in the most effective manner possibl
- Ensure that game development best practices are captured, communicated and effectively embedded across all of Pixel United
- Objectively and critically assess the game and feature ideas with a deep understanding of product dynamics and how different KPIs drive outcomes
- Collaborate with M&A & Business Development teams to: Define an M&A strategy that supports the strategy of PxU , identify, diligent, and integrate acquisition targets, and c raft a variety of commercial relationships with talent and game dev studios to expand Pixel United’s pool of talented teams
- Develop high-performing teams and maintain team cohesion and morale through inspiring leadership
- Work with Insights Group to ensure that business units have a complete and up-to-date understanding of the competitive landscape and that trends and opportunities are clearly identified and understood across the business. Work to shape the portfolio in alignment with such opportunities
- Champion the company’s people-first culture and values
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in senior-level product roles within the mobile games industry
- Strong leadership experience with an authentic and inspiring leadership style that empowers and elevates the team
- Excellent influencer with superb verbal and written communication skills. Capable of deftly and credibly relating to game development experts and C-Level executives.
- Ability to win over the organization and accomplish goals with knowledge, personality, and influence.
- Strategic thinking capability with the ability to remain hands-on and ensure the success of operational execution
- Strong numerical abilities with a robust understanding of key performance drivers and an ability to focus the team on needle-moving activities
- 10+ years of experience in entertainment, gaming, or digital entertainment MBA Preferred, not required
