POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you and your team will help drive the transformation of the Company. You’ll work closely with key business leaders and the People Experience leadership team to develop and drive business transformation, organization effectiveness and talent strategy which powers EA through the most disruptive and complex era of interactive entertainment. This team and function is highly regarded, strategic and influential, working closely with the C-Suite. The pace of industry, organizational and workforce evolution is rapid and progressive, and you will manage a global team to design programs, practices, tools and interventions which enable us to thrive and help shape the future of the industry. You will apply your functional expertise in transformation, organizational effectiveness and talent management to achieve positive outcomes for our business, our employee experience and our unique EA culture.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide thought leadership as we develop world class talent, leadership and culture enabling the business needs and broader People Strategy.
- Lead a center of excellence responsible for leader and manager development, career & performance enablement, culture and employee experience, org effectiveness and business transformation.
- Establish deep, trustful and influential relationships with senior leaders to help drive the transformation of our business and our People Experience function
- Lead our Learning, Engagement, Analytics and Performance organization to develop and execute talent offerings to build leadership, management, game-making expertise and overall organization capability.
- Drive progressive leadership and professional development practices for high-performing teams who are helping to create the future for our industry;
- In partnership with our Inclusion and Diversity team, integrate best-in-class practices to enable inclusion and diversity into the design, development and execution of practices led by your function
- Partner closely with the Talent Acquisition organization to achieve the goals of ensuring the right talent in key roles at the right time and in the right locations
- Drive a culture of high performance in your team through effective goal-setting, feedback and performance management practices
- Leverage people analytics and insights to diagnose organizational opportunities, evaluate program effectiveness, talent and organization capability gaps to design and implement solutions
- Champion innovation and provide current thought leadership on creative new talent management practices and technology.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of diverse, well-rounded experience across the talent management function spanning leadership effectiveness, people development, performance management, organizational effectiveness, employee experience, culture and engagement; global experience is a plus
- 5+ years’ experience in a function management capacity partnering with senior business leaders, working collaboratively with peers; and leading a global team.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree in organizational psychology, organization behavior, or organization development preferred
- Has led this function successfully to achieve results through a Company or Business Transformation
- Strong business acumen with an ability to frame talent issues within the context of business imperatives
- Grounded in theory and practice of the relevant disciplines of OD/OE, Talent Management, Change Management, Organization Design and Transformation, etc.
- Strong organization diagnostic skills with the ability to develop creative and clear solutions
- Strong analytics-orientation with the ability to use data to frame issues and influence outcomes
- A strong leader of others, able to attract, grow and retain the next generation of exceptional talent; is capable of creating and sustaining a diverse and inclusive team culture
- Effective coaching skills and reputation for delivering constructive feedback in a way which leads to successful development of people and teams
- Operated in a matrixed Human Resources model, partnering effectively with Business Partners and Centers of Excellence to bring the best solutions and resources to meet the needs of the company
