As the Head of Ecosystems, you will be the creator and cultivator of Immutable’s web 3 partner program. You and your team will recruit, align, and enable third party technology partners (e.g.: wallets, crypto trackers) and service providers in web 3 gaming (e.g. developers, systems integrators, creatives), all at scale. This program’s success will mean major acceleration in bringing web 3 games to the mainstream, value exchange to thousands of SMB businesses building on Immutable, and the rapid adoption of blockchain by the next 100M users.
In this role, you will lead and build a team of partner managers and web 3 strategists to accomplish your global mission. This team will be made up of consultative sellers and relationship managers that can operate in a high-change environment. The right candidate will understand technology platform strategy, the value of ecosystem building, and is highly capable of creating and evangelizing a gold standard, scalable partner program. Experience in managing high capacity funnels, crafting fair value exchange models (e.g. resellers, referrals, profit-sharing), and data-driven operational excellence are required. Past experience leading ecosystem creation is strongly preferred.
You will be working closely with the leadership team within the Go-to-Market organization at Immutable. You must have a passion for web3 gaming, crypto, and/or digital asset ownership through NFTs. Let’s call it crypto-curious, at the very least. Lastly, you will love this job if you want to work on cutting edge technology transforming the way people own digital assets, want exposure to a dynamic range of businesses - from multi-billion dollar gaming and marketplace legacy companies to some of the fastest growing defi and crypto startups in the world.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Work closely with the Go-To-Market leadership team at Immutable
- Lead and build a team of partner managers (recruit and manage Creatives, SIs, Dev shops) and web 3 subject matter experts (enablement)
- Build the structure and processes to enable your team
- Develop and be measured on growing the number of active partners, partner channel’s revenue and lead flow contribution, and ecosystem-attributed total trading volume
- Work cross-functionally to ensure the partner onboarding experience is excellent (R&D and Marketing), and deal flow is managed well from lead to close (BD)
- Understand and identify trends and opportunities in the web3 gaming landscape
- Build strong internal partnerships internally in addition to partners, and communicate key ecosystem insights
- 5+ years directly leading partner managers/account managers with third parties (ISVs, SMBs, SIs, Dev shops, resellers) within a technology platform business. SaaS or PaaS and software experience is a must.
- Gaming industry knowledge is a bonus
- Demonstrate operational excellence - you can build and maintain scalable processes that generate objective ecosystem insights.
- High comfort in designing conversion funnels that scale up and convert third party partners into active contributors into platform ecosystems
- Exceptional stakeholder and communications capabilities
- Experience working with resellers, ISVs, and SMBs. Knows how to drive enablement and execution within partner organizations.
- Familiarity with certification programs and commercial models to create alignment
- Comfortable working in a high-change startup environment. 0-1 operator.
- Entrepreneurial spirit is highly preferred

- Experience directly working on, or advising on web3 gaming projectsHas familiarity with how games are made and the different parts of the gaming ecosystem
