Unity is looking for a Vice President, Global Recruiting to lead and manage a growing, best-in-class recruiting team to deliver top talent in a dynamic globally distributed environment. We are looking for an authentic and data-driven results leader who will create and execute a forward-looking hiring plan that enables Unity’s company strategy, creates a competitive advantage while driving a high-performing technical recruiting machine. They will work closely with the Unity executive leadership team, functional leaders and finance function. The ideal candidate has experience running full-scale recruiting strategies with deep analytics, business acumen and exemplary leadership skills. We’re looking for a leader first – one that drives results through their team and growing a team who thrives and grows.
Responsibilities
- Lead the recruiting strategy and execution for all areas of the business including executive and technical hiring
- Lead a hiring process and feedback mechanism to drive continued net-promoter experience for the candidate and hiring managers
- Manage a clear set of KPIs , recruiting reports and dashboards to analyze, forecast, track and communicate KPIs to the business, while using metrics to drive operational excellence across the team
- Create and manage a recruiting budget; including partners, tools, and events
- Stay on top of new trends in the industry and marketplace and maintain up-to-date knowledge of recruiting issues and trends, related analytics, and labor laws that have short and long-term implications in our recruiting efforts
- Innovate hiring methodologies by identifying unique and non-traditional sources to find top talent
- Lead and set plans to increase the Unity employer brand year over year
- Think strategically and develop systems, processes and programs that are simple yet effective with the willingness to be hands on
- Partner closely with F&A to ensure a hiring plan that aligns to the company opex plan
- Set vision and inspire the global recruiting team to achieve great results and be a team of continued development and improvement
Experience & Skills
- 10+ years of overall recruiting leadership experience - the majority of which, should be focused technical and business recruiting in a fast-growth technology company
- Proven track record of developing people, leading and managing high-performing teams (50+ in headcount) in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Experience recruiting or managing recruiting outside US, EMEA and APAC
- A deep understanding of how to run a high quality, full-cycle and custom recruiting process and coach and lead a team to execute this plan seamlessly
- Consistent track record in driving efficiency in the use of technologies, process, and workflow
- Proven success partnering with executives and leaders cross-functionally
- Strong presentation skills
- Extraordinary relationship building, consulting, negotiation skills both internally and externally
- Data-driven and results-oriented mindset that demonstrates critical thinking abilities and an analytical and quantitative approach
- Detail-oriented project management skills with the ability to multi-task and stay focused in a fast-paced environment that moves with a constant sense of urgency
