User Research Design Intern [Ubisoft Connect] (f/m/d)

Job Description

As a User Research Design intern, you will be part of the design team of Ubisoft Connect. You will work with UX Designers and UI Designers on the functional production of features and services. You will support the team with prototyping, setting up and evaluating research and user testing to deliver intuitive, user-centered design solutions.

Your tasks:

• Support UX Designers with user research, interviews and expert evaluations
• Analyze user-flows and create customer journeys
• Support UX Designers with setting up qualitative and quantitative user tests and evaluating the results
• Communicate results efficiently to the UX Designers
• Contribute with accessibility research
• Work as part of the design team and within the guidelines provided by direction

Qualifications

• Basic experience in the field of User Research, UX and/or Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Psychology or Ergonomics,… (either as an academic discipline or work/project-based experience)
• User research skills and knowledge about a range of methodologies and qualitative/quantitative user testing
• Knowledge about user-centered design and user behavior
• Knowledge or deep interest about accessibility and inclusive design
• Handling customer-contact during interviews, with a high level of empathy and proficiency
• Motivation to solve design problems and to think “outside the box”
• Being organized and pro-active
• Passion for games and game services
• Fluent in English, both verbally and written
