Unity Developer, Spotlight

As a Unity Developer on the Spotlight Team, you will work closely with top game developers to really push the boundaries of what is possible in Unity. You will implement new Unity features, or optimize current features in conjunction with our partners. You will work with many different teams so you should enjoy meeting new people, and be prepared to travel. This is a great opportunity to contribute to big AAA projects without being tied to the 2-3 year development cycles that typically involves.

You will be a high competent Unity user that also has a background in AAA games or other high-end content. You will be advising our customers on how best to use Unity, so broad familiarity with the engine is a must. When a customer hits a problem, you will need to either improve a current feature or add something new to make their processes joyful again.

This position requires you to travel on average 4 days in a month to visit clients around Europe.

Responsibilities

• Work with external team to create high end showcases for Unity
• Develop features, workflows or effects as needed in collaboration with Unity users
• Understand Unity features at a deep level, and provide advice as needed
• Advise on how to improve current features, or suggest new ones

Requirements

• AAA game development experience with at least two titles shipped on PC or Console
• Demonstrable and in-depth knowledge of Unity Development specifically within Game Development
• Excellent and current programming skills in C/C++, C#
• Performance-minded development and optimization skills
• Experience with Unreal, CryEngine or other 3D game engines a plus
