Unity Developer

Launched in 1997, Super 78 is an award winning dynamic themed attraction and experience designer located in Silver Lake, California that has successfully designed, produced and installed dozens of attractions at theme parks around the globe.

Super 78 is looking to expand its team with a self-motivated Unity Engine Developer. You will work with both the programming and art teams to assist with the successful design and development of a range of applications and real-time experiences.

Candidates should be eager to learn with a self-starter personality that is ready and willing to jump into a wide variety of tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement new features within the Unity Engine
• Debug, optimize, and ensure software stability in the game's engine
• Integrate assets from the art and animation teams, ensuring they meet the necessary technical requirements.
• Responsible for making builds and ensuring there is always a backup of working builds
• Work with Creative Director, Producers and Technical Artist to match the look of prerendered media in a real-time Unity environment

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Game Development
• 5+ years experience as an Unity Engine Developer
• Proficient with C# and Unity 3D
• Maintain efficient, reusable, reliable, and well-organized code and project
• Strong knowledge of the game development process and 3D game engines
• Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Is passionate and excited about the capabilities of real-time animation technologies
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative
• Willing to work in office in Los Angeles, CA

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficiency with version control software
• Familiarity with porting code from previous versions of Unity
• Knowledge of Unity 2021
• Understanding of rigging and Unity animation system
• Willingness to learn new systems and plug-ins as they come out
