We are EA's game development studio based in Seoul, known for the FIFA Online series, a AAA sports game, as well as Need for Speed Online and MLB Online. Going beyond localizing global-scale games, we are on our journey to become an all-round game developer and lead a new trend in the gaming industry. Our mission is to inspire the world to Play!
You will be reporting to game design director.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed user experiences based on previously shared UX directions in close collaboration with game designers (wire frames, prototyping)
- Set UX directions for each game feature based on the product UX directions.
- Define main users and their needs based on the pre-defined UX directions in close
collaboration with game designers (define persona, identify issues/opportunities)
- Detail, validate and advance main ideas and experiences in advance (prototyping).
- Create detailed user experiences based on a clear understanding of design requirements (information structure, UX flow, detailed screen design, interactions)
- Examine and manage usability issues that arise in the process of bringing the design to life, following the guidance of a senior UX designer.
- Finalize what has been refined in close collaboration with UI artists.
Respond to issues that arise during the implementation phase in close collaboration with game designers and UI artists.
Qualifications
- You have 4+ years of experience in relevant fields
- You have passion for gaming and gameplay experience
- You can understand the product's vision and goals
- You have experience in the software development process
- You have experience producing detailed UX using Wireframe and prototyping tools, such as Figma and XD
- You have proficiency and knowledge in basic UX concepts, screen composition, UI principles, UI layout, and so on
- Solid cooperation experience with diverse partners and a passion for optimizing and reflecting user experiences
