Responsibility and Duties:
- Conceptualize, design, and create user interfaces, menus and assets that are visually appealing and intuitive
- Maintain a consistent artistic style that follows the product guidelines
- Collaborate with the Game Designer and Producer to establish the art needs
- Work with developers to ensure the proper integration of the artistic work
- Troubleshoot problems and assist the team in unblocking issues related to UI
Experience:
The ideal candidate:
- 4+ years experience as UI artist or game artist;
- Strong knowledge of visual design principles for mobile games;
- Proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator and/or Figma;
- Understanding of technical constraints and best practices for mobile game development;
- Basic knowledge of UX best practices;
- Good balance between creativity and practical flexibility;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
- Strong autonomy with a minimal level of supervision needed;
Nice to Have
- Advanced UX design experience, including prototyping;
- Capacity to integrate their work in Unity;
- 2D animation skills;
- Experience with GIT or other version control tools.
