ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a talented and experienced Games UI/UX Designer to join our team and take ownership of the user interface and experience design for our game titles.
As a Games UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive, visually appealing, and engaging user interfaces that enhance the overall player experience.
You will collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and developers to understand gameplay mechanics, user goals, and technical requirements, and translate them into intuitive and functional UI designs.
You will also conduct user research, gather feedback, and iterate on designs to optimize usability and player satisfaction.
The role requires a strong understanding of game design principles, UI/UX best practices, and a passion for creating immersive and memorable gaming experiences.
ABOUT YOU
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer in the gaming industry.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar software.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices, including user-centered design, usability testing, and prototyping.
- Experience creating wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for game UI elements.
- Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for typography, color theory, and layout.
- Knowledge of game development tools and the Unreal Engine, and its UI implementation process.
- Familiarity with animation principles and motion design techniques for enhancing user interactions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment and adapt quickly to changing project requirements.
- Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of player behavior and preferences.
- Experience with 3D software and asset creation for UI elements in-game environments is a plus, but not required.
- A proactive approach to learning and staying updated on emerging trends and technologies in game UI/UX design.
