What You'll Do

The UI Programmer will need to apply their knowledge of C++, UI, gameplay, and console development and work with multiple departments, including but not limited to art, design, engineering, sound on Fortnite, Unreal Engine, and other upcoming game releases to build features that are highly impactful to users.

They will be responsible for writing and implementing robust, sustainable code that efficiently uses game engine processing power and is free of errors that will enable navigation and function of menu options in our video game titles.

The UI programmer may also be charged with porting graphic elements of the interface (the process by which software is changed or translated to run on different hardware types), documenting both the code and asset implementation details of features.

The UI programmer will be responsible for taking proposed feature designs and determining the best solutions to achieve them; and then execute, implement, debug, and test said solution.
