UI ENGINEERING
What You'll Do
Psyonix is looking for an experienced UI Engineer to champion implementation of our user-facing features. You will be working with Producers, Designers, Artists and other Engineers to build new features and improve upon existing features and front-end systems. You will also have a say in what features will be coming and help identify new opportunities for additions to the game.
In this role, you will
- Design and create technical specifications for UI features and systems
- Collaborate with multiple departments to come up with balanced solutions
- Maintain and extend existing features and systems
- Implement prototypes and mockups that can be improved through iterative development
What we’re looking for
- Has professional game development and/or engineering experience
- Is mindful of UX in games and software applications
- Has a solid understanding of OO principles and a foundational understanding of C++
- Is self-motivated with a desire to continuously improve
- Can think creatively using available resources
- Unreal Engine; UMG; Blueprints; Adobe Animate; Photoshop; Xd; Actionscript; Scaleform are all pluses
