Job Overview
Wargaming Sydney are hunting for a User Interface designer to work on some of the world’s preeminent AAA games. You will work alongside tier 1 creative and programming talent who will support you in the pursuit of ground breaking user interface designs and innovations. In addition, you will be given the opportunity to help bolster Wargaming Sydney as Australia’s preeminent game developer as we expand our creative team to build the next big game. This role has potential for international travel and regular communication with overseas operations. Knowledge of Chinese culture and spoken language is also preferred

What will you do?
- Work with both internal and international stakeholders
- Seamlessly integrate with engineers and product teams to meet requirements in a creative fashion
- Produce design for both front-end and multi-player in-game requirements
- Advocate for the Wargaming brand and ensure it’s consistency across Australian media.
What are we looking for?
- Min 2 years of experience in a design environment
- Passionate about gaming and the gaming industry
- High proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and wireframing tools
- Well trained in design fundamentals and creative production
- Experienced in user interface design trends, theories, production methods and pipelines
- Able to prototype interaction concepts, wireframe user flows and layouts and present work with sound rational
- Experienced in brand design and working within brand guidelines
- Able to produce static, interactive and motion graphics within various game engines
- A detailed communicator who documents workflow and presents design intentions with passion
- Work with both internal and international stakeholders
- Seamlessly integrate with engineers and product teams to meet requirements in a creative fashion
- Produce design for both front-end and multi-player in-game requirements
What additional skills will help you stand out?
- Knowledge of Chinese culture and spoken language
- ActionScript, JavaScript and/or CSS skills are a bonus
- Experience using Unreal Engine, Scaleform or 3D programs
