UI Artist

Job Description
The Senior UI Artist is in charge of the creation of visuals and behaviors of the game UI and Menus and all functions related to the game Presentation. The position is about finding problems to solutions in a pragmatic and creative way, with emphasis on visual quality, technicality, attention to detail, and inter-disciplinary collaboration.
- Design and produce AAA quality UI graphics, in line with Présentation and Art direction, and gameplay intentions.
- Be a defender of the global UX and UI cohesiveness, from design to integration.
- Integrate interface in the build with in-house tools.
- Bring your own suggestions on interface and functionalities.
- Work in collaboration with programmers and game designers to deliver functionalities on time.
- Mentor and help other less experienced teams, and share knowledge and expertise.
- Promote good UI/UX methodology within the project.
- Propose innovative and creative but above all functional and ergonomic visual dressing concepts while respecting the imposed codes and the artistic direction;
Qualifications
Art and design skills:
- Strong art skills in graphic design, icon design, user interface motion design...
- Mastery of relevant art software (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, XD, C4D ou any other 3D suite...)
- Mastery of UX principles related to User Interface design and ergonomics.
- Understanding of technical constraints related to target platforms and engines.
Technical and expertise skills:
- Good integration skills (Preparing and importing assets, visual data binding and simple logic operations, etc)
- Great knowledge on video games
- Fluent English
- Comfortable with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
