UI Artist

Responsibility and Duties:
- Create high-quality 2D artwork that aligns with the project's vision and requirements, including concept art, character designs, backgrounds, environments, and UI elements.
- Develop and iterate on visual concepts, sketches, and storyboards to effectively communicate ideas and design concepts with industry-standard tools
- Work closely with the design team to understand project goals, themes, and visual style guidelines.
- Troubleshoot problems and assist the team in unblocking issues related to UI and art;
- Create mockups and develop 2D art with industry-standard tools;
- Ensure that all artwork meets technical requirements, including resolution, format, and optimization for various platforms.
- Collaborate with programmers, and other team members to integrate artwork seamlessly into the project.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and 2D art and design best practices.
- Be a solid teammate, brainstorm and partner with other designers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in creating art for games;
- Strong knowledge of visual design principles, technical constraints, and best practices for mobile game development;
- Great illustration skills with a portfolio of 2D assets for games;
- Proficiency in 2D art tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or similar software.
- Solid understanding of composition, color theory, and visual storytelling.
- Basic knowledge of UX best practices;
- Good balance between creativity and practical flexibility;
- Strong autonomy and good communication skills;
- Quick sketching methods and the ability to create accurate wireframes and to react quickly to changes;
- Good communication skills;
- Knowledge of the game development process, the constraints, and the a bility to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, communicate ideas clearly, and accept feedback gracefully.
- Strong attention to detail and the capacity to deliver high-quality artwork within deadlines.
- A passion for games, animation, and multimedia art, with a desire to push creative boundaries and innovate in the field of 2D art .
- Knowledge of animation principles and experience with animation software
- Intermediate English Level
Nice to Have
- Experience with Spine or Similar;
- Experience with UX design;
- Capacity to integrate their work in Unity;
Education
- BA/BS degree in Design or correlated areas
