UI Artist - Assassin’s Creed Franchise

Job Description
As a UI Artist at Ubi Quebec, you design and ensure the integration of graphical elements of the user interface in the game, such as menu animation, colors, fonts, textures, icons and other elements. You work closely with the Technical Director to solve display problems and facilitate player navigation.
What you will do
- Design and implement menu systems and user interfaces specific to each game platform, while preserving the uniformity of the visual and logical aspects of the user interfaces on these platforms;
- Ensure that user interface and HUD display systems are visually appealing, intuitive and effective for the player;
- Create mock-ups, animatics and other simple prototypes to solidify design direction and plans;
- Review game design documents to determine the experience you want to give to players;
- Apply and maintain a consistent art style throughout the interface of a game project and follow brand guidelines;
- Perform all other related tasks.
Qualifications
What you bring to the team
- College diploma in Graphic Design (an undergraduate degree is an asset)
- 1+ years of professional experience as a ''privileged'' UI artist in the video game industry
Skills and Knowledge
- Knowledge of current trends in graphic design and user interface design;
- Knowledge of UI software;
- UX awareness;
- Technical skills in design software (Ps, Tools, Scripting);
- Ability to adapt menus/design to all languages.
