UI ART DIRECTOR
Ripple Effect, an evolution of Battlefield's DICE LA, is a Los Angeles-based game studio on a mission to build community-first experiences through continuous innovation and boundary breaking technology.

We are looking for a visionary like you to inspire and guide a team of artists in delivering virtual assets of unrivaled visual quality. This role will report to our Studio Art Line Director, based in our studio in Los Angeles, California. We are considering on-site and hybrid working options, and welcome full-time remote candidates within the US or Canada to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Define the UI vision & identity
- Maintain high visual standards while understanding UI flow, functionality, and accessibility to successfully balance form vs. function
- Provide concepts, style guides, paint overs, and supporting documentation as required for clear high level visual direction & vision
- Motivate, and support team of UI artists with clear and consistent direction
- Assist in maintaining milestone and general UI art schedules with production team
- Responsible for quality of all milestone & deliverables as they relate to the UI Art department
Skills We Look For:
- Strong graphic design, layout, color palette, and typography
- Deep knowledge across design and prototyping software
- Understanding of motion design and timing
- A proven ability to express your ideas and vision visually in an inspirational and exciting fashion
- Passion for collaboration with other artists and a desire to mentor younger talent

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range for your specific location.
EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
º $157,450 - $245,500
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
º $154,950 - $223,350
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby (following 1 year of service), medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
