Position Overview (Based in Farnham)
Working closely with the Brand Director, development team and various other key stakeholders, the Two Point Studios Community Marketing Manager will help drive & implement the global community/social strategy for Two Point Studios.
The holder of this demanding role will be a public face for Two Point Studios titles, creating captivating assets and building a relationship between the audience and the development team, closing the gap to our player base.
A certain amount of domestic and international travel will be required to attend and work at various consumer, trade and community events of varying natures. There will also be occasions when work out of hours will be required.
This is a very creative role. We’re looking for someone who is passionately driven to make captivating visual content (video, livestreams, graphics), and a passion for placing those assets in the hands of the community. You’ll be excited to interact with our fans, thrilled by the prospect of listening to them and always ready to surprise them with something new.
You’ll be expected to wear multiple hats. You’ll be able to balance your creative streak against an ability to build and maintain strong links with the community, answer their questions and act as link between the voice of the community and the studio management team.
You’ll be a gamer at heart, preferably with a strong interest in classic management sims. You’ll know Two Point Hospital inside-out and will be full to the brim with content ideas.
You should be very familiar with the Adobe Creative Suite, have plenty of on-screen and off-screen video creation experience, bring exceptional writing and communication skills and understand the needs of a management sim audience.
Most crucially, you’ll be full of great ideas on how to convey the passion of our development team to the audience in the best way possible. A journalistic mindset for seeking out information is a major advantage, as is the ability to build meaningful relationships with external content creators and influencers.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop an unparalleled voice for our titles in the hearts and minds of our existing and potential community
- Work to challenging deadlines to create great-looking, impactful and fun video and social assets to be used across a wide variety of platforms that celebrate the best of our games and bring them to life in the minds of the community
- Own an engaging livestream calendar that showcases the best of Two Point Hospital to the world – work with the community to highlight champions and celebrate their passion
- The candidate will have perfect command of grammar, write engaging, fun, persuasive and punchy copy and tell emotive brand stories – a true champion of the brand voice
- Be responsible for developing, refining and implementing the community & social strategy for Two Point Studios
- Be a passionate, engaged presence at Two Point community and PR events, acting as an ambassador for everything Two Point
- Working closely with the Brand Director, development team and other key stakeholders as required, clearly defining an innovative and compelling brand community/social roadmap and ensuring regular & clear communication of all planned activity
- Manage and maintain global strategy on the brand social networks (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube etc,) and other official brand outposts (website, forums etc.). Recommend and implement changes and optimisations of these channels as required ensuring global best practice
- Run proactive social campaigns that break through noise & take creative risks. See opportunity where others don’t
- Take ownership for content updates to all brand social media networks and brand outposts. Ensure a high quality of engaging & emotive content is regularly delivered and implemented across all channels with a humorous tone and style
- Take part in SEGA-organised community events and/or identify relevant existing community events locally and/or overseas that development partners should participate in assuming responsibility for all parties involved either solo or in conjunction with SEGA PR managers and/or external agencies
- Request and manage a community budget to help you reach your objectives, with appropriate justifications
- Bring a strong knowledge of community management to the role with a growth mindset and a strong vision
- Own initiatives which encourage and reinforce fandom within the community and develop core, exciting community activities which tie smartly into ongoing marketing campaigns
- Identify exciting influencers, enthuse them with your passion for the game, and build meaningful relationships
- Report regularly on engagement, performance and other key metrics – confidently sell successes to the whole development team
- Be the voice of the community inside the studio and publisher. Understand and regularly report on the community’s wants, needs and desires to studio and publisher
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- This position requires a balance of creative thinking, writing, content creation planning and execution
- Stellar video and content creation skills, plus the ability to generate great ideas and follow through on them a must
- Track record of high-quality livestream set up, technical management and presentation
- A burning passion for games, particularly management sims
- Current in-depth knowledge of the social media & digital marketing landscape and emergent trends is essential
- Previous experience of working within or closely with a globally-responsible digital/community department for a major brand or games publisher is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding and vision of brand voice, especially in social media
- A strong interest in multimedia creation in all forms – whether video, graphic or textual – and a keen understanding of how different types of media resonate with different audiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation skills, to all sizes of audience
- Able to build and maintain strong professional and informal relationships within organisations and externally with members of the public
- Current in-depth knowledge of the games industry is desirable, but not necessary
- Experience of working to tight delivery timelines a major advantage
- Content management system/web development familiarity/knowledge desirable
- Willingness to travel when necessary both domestic and international
