Summary:
Due to the increased demand for our products, and the corresponding volume of hiring associated with our company-wide expansion, Age of Learning is looking to hire a Technical Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team!
As our Technical Recruiter, you will work directly with hiring managers, executive stakeholders, and HR leadership to develop creative strategies that help in finding, retaining, and hiring the best talent in the market. You will be responsible for driving practical and creative ways to identify talent using highly engaging approaches. From there, you will also spearhead our efforts in delivering a high-touch and positive candidate experience, from the initial outreach through the onboarding of the new hires sourced.
This opportunity will provide a range of exposure to our various technical positions in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, with plenty of professional development opportunities available.
Responsibilities:
- Perform full-cycle sourcing and recruiting efforts for candidates within the engineering discipline
- Exercise a wide degree of effectiveness in sourcing and recruiting, technical understanding, and personal organization
- Act as a true subject matter expert on market trends and innovative recruiting techniques
- Strategize different ways to build talent pipelines and execute on tactical research, referral generation, talent mapping, events, and sourcing campaigns
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Age of Learning’s hiring managers, executives, and other HR Operations team members in order to foster genuine partnerships that perpetuate hiring success, predictable results, and credibility
- Work closely with the rest of our recruiting team and lead mentorship efforts surrounding full-cycle technical recruiting
- Regularly track pipeline activity to share with internal stakeholders while conducting market research to help inform large scale hiring decisions
- Participate in career fairs, conferences, and networking events to boost our company’s reputation and network with technology professionals
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting focused on hiring technical candidates in a fast-paced environment, with at least 1 year of working “in-house”
- Must have experience successfully recruiting for cutting edge software engineering and technical leadership roles
- Demonstrated knowledge in all full-cycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying candidates, networking, relationship management, compensation negotiation, and candidate due diligence
- Must be able to quickly assimilate technical information and build solutions to the optimal balance of meeting business needs and operating within financial resource constraints
- Effective communication/negotiation skills and an ability to close top talent
- Strong initiative, solid judgment abilities/skills, and a solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to synthesize relevant information and then present findings in a clear and concise manner
- Demonstrated history of driving strategic hiring solutions
- A strong team player mentality is a must
- Must have the ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures and recommend improvements as needed
- Experience previously recruiting in the ed-tech and/or gaming industries is a plus
