We are looking for a Project Manager to join our fast-paced Infrastructure Operations Project Management team. This individual will help us achieve even greater velocity in our projects. In this role, you will be an essential leader within the organization. You will be responsible for assigned projects through the various stages of the project lifecycle and assist in the Ops Teams’ operation. You will help clarify goals and requirements, foster transparency, clear obstacles, highlight risks, and promote highly collaborative teams.

- Provides strategic guidance and collaborates with peers and management
- Promotes strong communication among team members and cross-functional partners
- Inspires and empowers individuals and teams within the organization
- Develops and defines metrics to assess accomplishments
- Mentors new project managers, assisting and directing their growth within the organization
- Manages large budgets
- Runs one or more programs with limited direction
Your background Includes:
- 2+ years of professional experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline, or equivalently deep level of experience using particular project and/or development management methodologies
- Makes self available outside of regular work hours for dealing with significant issues and can act proactively to resolve business problems
- Sound judgment and ability to lead by influence or authority
- Can assist teams with planning, scheduling, coordinating, communicating, and executing various initiatives
- Can own a wide range of project types, be relied upon to support issues with many adjacent teams effectively
- Expert in project management methodologies, tools, and processes
- Able to determine which tools to apply based on project and stakeholder needs
- Can drive key decisions and identify interdependencies
- Extensive knowledge of the technologies and business practices and/or processes managed and/or impacted projects team(s) work
- Regularly provides input on both technical and business roadmaps and/or strategy
- Able to provide clear and concise verbal and written project status updates at the executive level via multiple approaches with no supervisory review
- Can confidently convey risks, issues and blockers and present alongside proposed mitigation or resolution plans
- Able to resolve conflicts and negotiate agreements
- Seeks to defuse tension between team members by objectively breaking down issues into their components and finding compromises that meet everyone's needs
- Be receptive to diverse ideas, suggestions, and opinions
- Earn the respect of others, both inside and outside their direct organization, by constantly delivering on promises and commitments
