TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER

The Distributed Development Group are a central publishing team/ secret ingredient for 2K’s game development studios. We’re the engine who provide highly effective partnerships, process and pipelines so our teams can focus on making great games. What We Need:


Guide the Distributed Development Group to effectively address the needs of multiple studios, games, external partners and publishing groups. Process client requests, build schedules, track development progress, facilitate team productivity, coordinate the quality assurance process, and help ensure compliance with legal and business requirements. The Technical Project Manager is ultimately responsible and accountable for the timeliness and communication around all central distributed development efforts, and there’s a lot going on. We’re looking for a team player with strong interpersonal and organizational skills to navigate our complex and fast-paced environment, and an absolute passion for getting things done.




What You Will Do:

• Translate business objectives into tactical project plans with ability to manage to forecast
• Define, prioritize and measure KPIs and ROI against the product roadmap
• Lead cross-functional projects that involve stakeholders across a variety of teams within the organization
• Oversee external development teams, ensuring customer needs are translated into software solutions that deliver on those needs
• Identify, establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers at studios (our customers)
• Prepare, maintain and regularly present plans that proactively communicate strategy, roadmap and progress to key stakeholders
• Provide risk analysis and issue management
• Manage to budget and provide reporting
  
  

Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit:

• Veteran in tools and pipelines software engineering, ideally for both technical and creative clients
• Experience in a technical project management role and evangelizing group solutions
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to interact, influence and align with all levels of the organization; both internal and external
• Experience managing external development teams to efficient and successful delivery of products
• Strong strategic and analytical thinker with exceptional execution and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong project management skills with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding partner and customer expectations. Familiarity with agile development and tools
