Production Infrastructure and Engineering’s charter is to make EA's games and services available to all players anytime and anywhere. To do this, we focus on the high availability of infrastructure, core services, and studio services. We strive to enable developers to experiment and build new games quickly with infrastructure services on-demand and workflows that enable rapid development in the cloud. The Technical Program Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of technical projects supporting our physical, virtual, and cloud infrastructure for our partners and game titles, as well as projects related to workflow automation. This role focuses on project ownership throughout the cycle, including project tracking, communication with stakeholders, weekly status summaries, and proactively addressing risks and issues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Program/Portfolio Management: Manage project deliverables to support a portfolio of work for efficiency, prioritization, sprint management, and established scrum cadence with teams.
- Project Delivery: Manages the project lifecycle in accordance with the PMO methodology, paying careful attention to project scope and objectives (change management), detailed project timelines, resource plans, and budget consumption. Monitors internal and external dependencies between related projects.
- Issue & Risk Management: leads the identification and resolution of risks and issues, including escalation management when required.
- Project Reporting/Communications: Reports the status and progress of projects to the PMO, project stakeholders, and higher level status reporting for senior/executive staff.
- Quality Management: Ensures Quality standards and procedures are defined/identified and adhered to for all projects. Conducts defined project phase reviews throughout the lifecycle of projects.
- Task Ownership: Directly responsible for tasks assigned to the project manager on the projects, including creating tickets in different tools and writing documentation;
- Cross-team Execution: Ensures project teams are effective (working model, trained, etc.). Demonstrate the ability to effectively manage project resources as “one team” to deliver initiatives. Facilitates collaboration among teams.
EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION:
- BS in Computer Science or comparable technical degree, or commensurate experience. Minimum 7 years of technical project management experience.
- Experience with Infrastructure and Cloud deployments, migrations, and upgrades across data center related technologies (Network, Security, Systems Administration, Database Administration, Storage).
- Experience managing projects with geographically distributed and culturally diverse work groups.
- Experience with documentation and work tracking tools like: JIRA, Monday.com, Service Now, Confluence, GitLab, and Sharepoint.
- Proficient with G-Suite tools. Excel advanced reporting capabilities for building, tracking and analyzing data.
- Experience working with multiple teams and partners across organizations.
- Delivery track record across multiple large-scale cross group programs.

- Define various key metrics related to process, project, and partner that need to be tracked to communicate to stakeholders.
- Ability to listen to engineering updates and translate them into business status updates.
- Understanding of and a passion for the digital gaming space would be considered a huge plus.
- High degree of emotional intelligence and tailors interaction and communication styles to be effective.
- Ability to engage business partners professionally and establish strong relationships based on passion, exceptional communication skills, work ethic, action follow-up, and the delivery of technical requirements.
BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
º $93,700 - $143,700 CAN Annually
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
