Technical Program Management Lead - IT, Release, and Live

Bungie seeks a Lead Technical Program Manager to drive our IT, Release, and Live programs. Working closely with leaders from our Tech Ops and Release Management groups, they will be responsible for viable and sustainable delivery across infrastructure, tooling, and operational initiatives.
They will align plans within and across teams (and partners) in the service of customer, business, and strategic needs. They are responsible for the management and career growth of Program Managers within their areas and are accountable to the Program Management Lead.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish high-functioning partnerships with your area leaders, scheduling and running rituals as needed
- Build and communicate shared understanding around the goals, roadmap, and strategy for your areas
- Gather requirements and align area priorities to customer, organizational, and business needs; the Bungie technology vision; and team capabilities within your areas
- Ensure successful delivery of area products / programs / initiatives, managing change and resolving risks throughout
- Iterate on processes to continuously improve area velocity, predictability, and transparency
- Manage area PMs in executing against their production plans, navigating project or people challenges, and achieving their career objectives
- Exemplify program management best practices, evolving them for the better at Bungie
- Drive regular evaluations of area budgets, org health, and sustainability
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Experience in project or PM leadership roles
- Exemplary communication, analytical, and project management skills
- Emotional intelligence and empathy for technical teams and people
- Demonstrable technical acumen and a history of leading delivery of high impact technology features
- Familiarity with agile concepts and practices
- Commitment to servant leadership
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
- Professional, educational, or hobbyist background in technology
- Experience with large-scale SDLC or a concept-to-live game production cycle
Most Bungie full-time employees will adopt a digital first approach allowing remote work in Bungie approved locations (outside of positions identified as 100% onsite in Bellevue/Seattle, or individuals preferring a hybrid/flex environment).
