Technical Operations Coordinator

Certain Affinity is a world-leading independent gaming company. The Technical Operations team at Certain Affinity is looking for a talented individual with strong organization and administration skills. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated rock star with a strong drive, extreme resourcefulness, excellent planning and project management skills, and solid communication skills.
This role will report to the Sr. Technical Operations Manager and interact with almost all departments at some level, as the Technical Operations team is a critical central hub. Our goal is always to ensure our employees have what they need to do their jobs effectively and securely and provide that support in a prompt, coordinated, and organized manner; this role will play a pivotal part in achieving that goal daily. Clear communication, forward planning, first-rate project management skills, a high degree of proficiency with spreadsheets, and excellent time management are vital.
Responsibilities
- Support procurement and help build and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Complex logistics and inventory management
- Act as a sounding board to provide insight to help improve existing processes and establish new ones to support continued company growth and efficiency
- Coordinate physical security teams
- Emergency preparedness management
- Organize team meetings, and take notes
- Orchestrate employee onboardings and terminations
- Maintain and keep critical documentation updated and drives organized
- Convert raw data into logical formats to aid detailed analysis
- Prepare information and research for the Tech Ops Leadership Team as directed
- Confluence workspace development and upkeep
- Assist with other administrative support tasks as needed
- Provide coverage within the Technical Operations team when needed
- Assist the Business Operations team with occasional special events and projects
Requirements
- 7+ years prior administrative support experience
- A logical thinker and problem solver
- High level of interpersonal skills, self-motivated, uber-dependable, and self-directed
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
- Strong planning, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be flexible and operate under sometimes stressful, time-sensitive deadlines
- Proven ability to maintain the confidentiality of highly sensitive material with tact and professionalism
- Computer-savvy, with a solid technical foundation; proficient with various software applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Slack, Gmail, and the Google business tools suite (Docs, Sheets, etc.
- Spreadsheet proficiency is paramount
- Ability to lift at least 30 pounds
- Can work occasional nights and weekends

- Prior related experience in a video games development environment
