Job Description
As Technical Game Designer, you'll be responsible for 3D game project's architecture and toolset. You'll implement and troubleshot complex design-related content to the game and communicate / coordinate with understanding on a technical level between art, animation and programming.
Responsibilities:
- Deep understanding of the inner workings of game systems and toolset. Capacity to communicate the stemming technical constraints.
- Carrying-out production tasks as a game designer with special focus on level design, prototyping the gameplay features and so on.
- Being the 'go to' person for complex implementations of design content, and for shepherding projects that require heavy design / programming / art interaction (for instance, animations, linking GD & 3D modeling departments).
- Troubleshooting relentlessly, chasing down issues on behalf of the team.
- Proposing improvements to the tools and systems.
Qualifications
- We think of a candidate as of designer with a technical background, knowing the object-oriented programming principles and 3D graphics.
- Familiar with 3D game engines (for instance, Unity), level building flows, and so on. Having at least the test experience is must.
- Having good design instincts and an understanding of how to create fun experiences using placed objects and scripts.
- Willing to take the direction and collaborating with different disciplines.
- Friendly, assertive, attentive to detail and team-oriented person.
