The External Games team Technical Director will work as part of the External Games leadership team to support delivering external developer partners’ games successfully to our members. The ideal candidate is excited to leverage broad games engineering leadership and strategic experience partnering with producers, business development, and our internal Netflix product and technology teams.

An ideal team member has a deep understanding of the technology considerations having collaborated on multi-discipline teams to build and release a wide variety of games with both client and backend/live service considerations as well as their implications to business, production, and design. This leader will get deeply involved in numerous efforts, including but not limited to developer partner and project due diligence and deal signing, service and platform integrations, influence, and game and portfolio health; previous experience in similar roles in publishing-oriented organizations is also ideal.

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top-of-market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $100,000 - $500,000 USD.
