Position Summary: Technical Director (Frostbite)

- Working with an international team on AA or AAA in a multi-engine studio
- Develop engine systems as well as improve workflows for our development teams on platforms including PC and consoles.
- A hands on leader and mentor to engineers
- Facilitate communication between clients, internal teams/management, and individual contributors

Responsibilities:
- Leads teams of engineers working on projects with the Frostbite engine
- Expert in engine architectures, systems and how they relate to game design
- Lead on evaluating performance, and optimization on supported game platforms for both customer projects as well as TLM’s internal tech.
- Work closely with the other team leads as well as the customer on technical goals, features, and development.
- As a leader, ensure that code quality, reusability and documentation are always a high priority.
- Own the customer facing relationship for your engineering team
Required Qualifications:
- Extensive Frostbite experience
- 10+ years of game development experience, including on recent generation consoles
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ shipped AAA console or PC titles, with at least 2 as a lead/senior/TD and 1 in Frostbite
- Strong C/C++, performance analysis, optimization, and debugging skills.
- Background with parallel programming and multi-threaded engine systems.
- Comprehensive understanding of PC and console architecture, memory systems, and cross-platform game development best practices..
- Excellent communication skills with engineers and across departments
- Experience with technical design documentation
- Strong preference for EU timezone
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with current and next generation console SDKs and PC store fronts (eg. Steam, Epic, etc).
- Expertise in Rendering, Mathematics, Physics, Audio, AI
- Shipped a multiplayer game.
