About this role
As a Developer Advocate you will become the bridge between creators and Roblox and be a
driving force for how we connect, inform, and engage our community! You’ll work directly with
Product and Engineering teams to share key information with our growing community of global
creators.
You Will:
● Be a representative for the needs of our global community
● Drive the sharing news and feature announcements (through
channels such as our Developer Forums and social media)
● Partner with product, engineering, and other leaders across the company to ensure that
our creators are well-informed and up-to-date with what’s going on at Roblox
● Look for opportunities to improve how we connect, inform, and engage Roblox
developers and creators
● Build out long and short term solutions to improve communication strategies
● Learn and understand how creators use our platform
and products
What you need to be successful:
● Experience with social media, journalism, or have the know-how to make words engage
and inform an audience
● Experience with writing in different brand tones and
using a brand’s voice to communicate to consumers or partners
● Experience collaborating across multifunctional teams such as: marketing, product, or engineering
● An excellent communicator with fantastic verbal and written communication skills
● Proficiency with both technical and creative writing
● Analytical, with a keen eye for the little details
● Self-motivated and passionate, with an appetite for problem solving and innovation
● Tech-savvy, you can understand the high-level of most tech topics
● Game development experience is a plus
