Role Overview
As a Technical Art Implementor, you'll play a key role in bringing our 2D artist's creations to life in Unity. You'll ensure the seamless integration of art assets
Key Responsibilities
- Implement UI 2D art assets into Unity with an eye for maintaining the artist's original vision.
- Implement functional basic UI layout and animation/tweens in Unity
- Collaborate closely with artists and developers to resolve any technical issues that arise during asset implementation.
- Optimize assets to ensure the best balance of visual quality and performance within the game engine.
- Participate in reviews and iterations of art assets, providing and receiving feedback in a constructive manner.
- Handle visual bug fixing and be mindful of bug-prone implementation decisions.
- Handle asset management support to the rest of the art team.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Intermediate understanding of Unity specifically about Unity UI features (canvas, and animator)
- Basic in Unity C# scripting
- Experience in making or modifying Unity components to support the art team in implementing assets.
- Experience in improving pipelines and analyzing bottlenecks would be a plus.
- Ability to create visual effects using Unity particle system (shader knowledge is a plus).
- A keen eye for visual aesthetics and detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively within a team setting.
- An understanding of optimization techniques for game performance.
- Passion for games and a keen interest in the game development process.
