Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Architect with a strong background in game engineering, and a proven track record of leading the technical implementation of game dev engines and tooling. The successful candidate will become responsible for overseeing the development and success of significant products or programs that streamline processes and enable new innovations for our studio teams. This role demands a dynamic individual capable of driving technical excellence across our development teams, fostering innovation, and delivering impactful results.What you'll do
- Spearhead the development of innovative and efficient game development, A.I., and automation software in order to improve the efficiency and quality of our game development studios.
- Lead the design and development, of complex engines & frameworks using C#, Unity, and other game dev languages.
- Provide technical leadership over projects with broad impacts to our internal teams.
- Architect robust, scalable, and efficient solutions that meet both current and future business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and design, to ensure successful technical deliveries that align with our strategic objectives.
- Develop and present software designs and plans with stakeholders and management.
- Mentor and develop engineering talent, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among global teams to ensure solutions meet the needs of a diverse set of personas.
- Conduct code reviews, promoting a high standard of code quality and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within our software, addressing bugs, performance bottlenecks, and compatibility issues
- Able to accurately estimate, meet deadlines/provide deliverables on time.
- Participate in the evaluation and adoption of third-party libraries, tools, and technologies to enhance development efficiency and effectiveness.
- Decompose features from business analysts into epics, stories, and tasks.

What we're looking for
- 10+ years of experience in game software development, across a variety of engines and languages.
- 5 years in an architect or senior engineering role, demonstrating strong technical leadership.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale software projects, with a comprehensive understanding of software architecture and design principles.
- Strong leadership and mentorship abilities, capable of guiding and growing engineering personnel.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Dedicated to the development of superior software solutions and committed to remaining abreast of cutting-edge technological innovations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
